Authenticity that honors the land
When Mr. Russell envisioned Russell Crossroads, he pictured a bustling, self-sufficient town center focused on local industry and community. Something reminiscent of what southern towns used to look like: a general store, a market, a clinic, restaurants, of course, and even a gristmill.
It was crucial that the restaurant reflect and honor the land. With that in mind, Russell Lands teamed up with culinary advisor, Chris Hastings; general manager, John Mark Davis; and executive chef, Rob McDaniel to deliver a restaurant that respected the land and a menu that featured excellent, local products. Mr. Russell chose a commanding location on a hillcrest overlooking meadows, pine forests, and in the distance, serene Lake Martin. |
