Michelle WestMeet Michelle West, Events Coordinator and Office Manager

Michelle grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and began her restaurant experience as a host at Sweet River Restaurant in Pleasanton, California at the age of 16. After high school, Michelle attended Las Positas College before moving to the Napa Valley. While working in Calistoga at The Roman Spa Hot Springs Resort as a reservationist, Michelle also helped local caterers at wine festivals and special events. Through a connection made in the Napa Valley, she began working for an art dealer, eventually leading to a transfer to Atlanta, Georgia.

Once in Atlanta, Michelle began moonlighting at a variety of restaurants holding many positions from bartender to a part-time manager, ultimately leading to a full-time management position. While working as a service manager in Metro Atlanta, Michelle met her husband Brian and relocated with him to Macon, Georgia.

Michelle worked with Chef Dario Leo and Giordano Filipponi on the opening of Marco Restorante Italiano in Macon. She then worked for Carrabbas as a bookkeeper, while attending Macon State College, until the birth of her daughter in 2006.

Michelle and her family moved to Alexander City in 2007 when her husband accepted the General Manager position at Willow Point Golf and Country Club.

With years of hospitality experience, Michelle is the ideal person to manage special events and catering at SpringHouse. Her prior experience helped to prepare for her responsibilities as a key member of the SpringHouse staff. She loves coordinating weddings and special events and her dedication to the success of each event is evident in her strict attention to detail.
