Enjoy SpringHouse and Lake Martin
year round
Dear friends and loyal patrons,
Both Idie and I would like to thank all of you for your tremendous support of SpringHouse and our fantastic staff since we opened last April. After a very busy spring and summer, we have settled into our fall and winter schedule and various activities we will be featuring each week. These programs are intended to create fun learning opportunities that we call “Art of Living” activities that give all lake goers the chance to experience the lake year round, while developing community through food. This is a philosophy we are committed to. Idie and I feel strongly that Lake Martin is a very special place and has the opportunity to be enjoyed year round. We want to create a broad range of “Art of Living” activities that enrich the Lake Martin experience. I would like to introduce you to some of these programs.
For the oenophiles (wine lovers) in the group, our wine dinners each month will showcase the world’s best wines and guest wine makers, accompanied with Rob’s world class food. These events are usually held on Thursday evenings and can be the beginning of an extended weekend. Weekends at the lake can include any number of other activities such as horseback riding, chuck wagon meals, nature walks with the Russell Crossroads naturalist, football or golf. We will be featuring, throughout the fall and winter months, activities that we hope will give everyone a chance to plan extended weekends so you can enjoy your lake experience year round. Several very popular events we will be featuring each week will be either a cooking class or a painting class. Both are great activities that have given folks another opportunity enjoy SpringHouse, as well as a long weekend at their lake homes. With the holiday season quickly approaching, we would like to invite all of our families and corporate clients to look into their seasonal entertaining needs and consider the many options we have for you at SpringHouse. From the Well House to the entire venue, we can customize any event you may need for your family or clients assuring you the highest quality of food and service while again enjoying Lake Martin. If you will be spending time at the lake this Thanksgiving, have Chef Rob McDaniel and his team prepare your entire meal. We have created a menu of classic Thanksgiving favorites that you can pre-order for your family. Contact Michelle West and she will handle every detail as our event coordinator.
