Meet John Geoffrion,
Server Captain
John Geoffrion grew up in Rocky Mount, NC and moved to Alabama to attend Auburn University. While attending college, he realized he needed a job to make ends meet. Both of his brothers had worked in restaurants while in college and encouraged John to give it a try. He started working at the Auburn Hotel & Conference Center as a bartender and server. He quickly realized that working in the restaurant industry was not only a great way to pay for college but also developed a passion for food and service.
He has gained experience in every facet of the industry, from washing dishes at Hardees at 15 to managing large, full-service restaurants. John's love, though, has always been working directly with people and he enjoys the challenge and fun every day will bring in a unique way. It does not hurt that Chef Rob McDaniel requires the staff to taste every dish the kitchen creates.
John joined SpringHouse at the very beginning in February 2009 and still drives back and forth between Lake Martin and Auburn. In his free time he can be found cheering for Auburn football and UNC basketball.
